This Privacy Policy describes how Stashed (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Stashed mobile application.
Information you provide: When you set up the app, you may provide a display name and preferences (e.g., cooking goals, diet, recipe sources). This is stored on your device and used to personalize your experience.
Recipes and content: Recipes you save, import (e.g., from links or photos), organize into cookbooks, and add to your grocery list are stored locally on your device. We may process recipe URLs and page content to extract recipes when you use the import feature.
Subscription and payments: If you subscribe to Stashed Pro, payment and subscription status are handled by Apple and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We do not store your payment details; we only receive information necessary to grant access (e.g., that your subscription is active).
Usage and diagnostics: We may collect anonymous or aggregated data to improve the app (e.g., crash reports, performance). If we use third-party analytics, we will describe that in an update to this policy.
We use the information above to provide and improve the app: personalizing your experience, saving and organizing your recipes, generating grocery lists, processing imports from websites or photos, and managing your subscription access.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only as needed to operate the service (e.g., with our subscription and infrastructure providers, or when required by law). Recipe content you import may be sent to our service providers for processing (e.g., recipe extraction) in accordance with their privacy policies.
Your recipes, cookbooks, and grocery lists are stored on your device. Any data we process for imports is handled in line with industry practices. We do not retain your recipe content longer than necessary to provide the feature.
You can stop using the app at any time. To delete data stored on your device, remove the app. For subscription management (cancel, refund), use your Apple ID settings or Apple’s support. If you have questions about your data, contact us (see below).
Stashed is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
